Jesus Christ is God in the flesh. He came to save sinners, died in our place, rose again, and calls you to turn from sin and trust Him completely.
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” — John 3:16
John 3:16 • Romans 3:23 • Romans 10:9-13 • Ephesians 2:8-9
Faith is not just belief.
It is trust.
You don’t admire the parachute.
You put it on.
He didn’t come to improve your life. He came to save you from sin and give you eternal life.
Eternal God in human flesh

Born of a virgin (Matthew 1:18-25)
Lived sinlessly as a carpenter (Hebrews 4:15)
Creator of the universe (John 1:3)
Risen and reigning King (Revelation 19:16)
On the cross, He took your place so you could be forgiven and made right with God.
Jesus took the full wrath of God for every sin—past, present, and future. “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)
Isaiah 53:5-6 • 2 Corinthians 5:21 • 1 Peter 3:18
Death could not hold Him. “He was delivered over to death for our sins and was raised to life for our justification.” (Romans 4:25)

Forgiveness, adoption into God’s family, the Holy Spirit, and eternal life. “For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast.” (Ephesians 2:8-9)
John 1:12 • Romans 8:15-17 • Titus 3:5-7
God’s standard isn’t “better than others.” It’s perfect holiness — and we all fall short.
Have you ever lied?
Even once? What do you call someone who lies?
Have you ever stolen anything?
No matter how small? That would make you a thief.
Have you ever used God’s name in vain?
That’s called blasphemy - using His holy name carelessly.
Have you ever looked with lust?
Jesus said, “Anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart.” (Matthew 5:28)
If you’ve done these things, then by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart.
And that’s just 4 of the 10 commandments.
So here’s the serious question:
Would you be innocent or guilty before God?
The Bible says: “All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” (Romans 3:23)
If God is perfectly just, He must punish sin.
This is why you need a Savior.
Jesus took your place, paid your debt, and rose again so you could have eternal life.
God created us for relationship with Him
We were made in His image to know, love, and enjoy Him forever. (Genesis 1:26-27; 2:7)
Our sin separated us from God
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God… The wages of sin is death.” (Romans 3:23; 6:23)
Jesus paid the penalty in full
“God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.” (2 Corinthians 5:21)
We must receive Him by faith alone
“If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” (Romans 10:9)
Jesus has done everything necessary for your salvation.
But knowing that is not enough.
The question is not just what you believe about Jesus — it’s whether you are willing to trust Him completely.
What does that kind of trust actually look like?
It’s not enough to believe in Him — you must rely on Him completely.
You’re 10,000 feet up. The engine just died.
You can believe parachutes work.
You can understand how they work.
You can even admire the parachute.
But none of that saves you.
You must strap it on and jump.
You don’t put on a parachute to improve your flight. You put it on because you know you’re about to jump.
In the same way, you don’t trust Jesus to improve your life — you trust Him because you know you need to be saved.
This is the difference between intellectual belief and saving faith. Even demons believe (James 2:19).
Biblical faith is active trust — relying on Jesus alone to save you. “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.” (Hebrews 11:1)
Jesus invites you: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” (Matthew 11:28)
Still in freefall.
Not saved. (James 2:19)
You jump.
He saves you.
“Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” — Acts 16:31
Salvation is the beginning. Here are clear, biblical next steps to walk with Him daily.
Start with the Gospel of John (the story of Jesus). Then Romans (explains the Gospel). Use a plan: YouVersion app or BibleProject.com.
Start John 1 now →“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” (Psalm 119:105)
Speak honestly - like a child to a Father. Thank Him for salvation, confess sin, ask for help. Do it every morning and night.
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.” (Philippians 4:6)
You were never meant to walk alone. Get baptized, join a small group, and serve others. Search: “Gospel-centered church near me”.
“And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together.” (Hebrews 10:24-25)
These teachings cover important foundational topics: salvation, repentance, assurance, sin, judgment, and the Christian life.
Use these as a next step for growing deeper in your understanding of God’s Word after reading the Bible for yourself.

A simple prayer of trust:
“Lord Jesus, I know I am a sinner. I believe You died on the cross for my sins and rose again on the third day. I turn from my sin and trust You alone as my Lord and Savior. Thank You for forgiving me and giving me eternal life. I am Yours forever. Amen.”
This prayer is not a magic formula — salvation is found in Christ alone, received by faith.
Clear, biblical answers to common questions about salvation, Jesus Christ, and eternal life.
